The Montessori Preschool and VPK encourage children to explore their interests and creativity in a child-centered, peaceful world. A phonetic pre-reading and writing curriculum encourages interested students to begin reading books at age three or four. Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grades classes provide an explosion into learning. Innovative manipulatives attract children to explore mathematics and geometry, fractions and decimals. Colorful boxes of phonetic materials open and expand the world of reading, spelling, and writing. Three-dimensional cubes of golden beads illustrate place value, classroom scales teach weight and measurement, and maps and globes lure students into research about the diverse world we live in, to mention only a few.
